Skywatch Friday - Sunset at the Foshay

I took this photo through the window of my hotel room in the Foshay Tower in Minneapolis. The Foshay Tower building held the honor of being the tallest building (32 floors) west of the Mississippi for 40 years. A couple years ago, it was completely remodeled and became the W Minneapolis Hotel - very modern decorating within a historic architecture shell.

Some night neon from my "Signs" collection. This shot was taken around midnight, and without a tripod (because I didn't have one with me). A fairly successful experiment.

Miracle Car Wash in Dubuque, IA. Built in 1960, the car wash has been a favorite of locals and Dubuque visitors for almost 50 years.
