ABC Wednesday - R is for Ragged

I love white birch trees - especially when the bark is peeling and curling. I took this photo on a dreary, overcast day and then did a little digital darkroom work on it to enhance the detail.

Monochrome of Monochrome

People and Pets Sundays - Emma Cooling Off

Emma is our 10+ year old brittany spaniel. We adopted her 9 years ago from a local animal shelter. She was adopted and returned two times before we met her and brought her home. We decided to take a chance, and it worked out great for us. Emma is still happy to do a 5 mile walk, especially if it includes a dip in a pond or lake.

Monday Morning Raccoon

This little guy walked into the parking lot when I was going to work. I stopped to watch what he was up to. Fortunately, I was holding my camera bag at the time, so I was ready when he walked right up to me. He paused on the rock just long enough to pose for a photo, and then continued on his way. It was a great start for a Monday!
