I've taken dozens of photos of runner's and their expressions most of the time look unflattering. I think you got the right idea to get them at the start, when most of them are smiling :)
ReplyDeleteEagerness turns to tiredness by the end of the race... what was the result of the race though? Your daughter seems to be among the few top runners right at the start....

ReplyDeleteMy daughter took first place in both races in her age group. She loves bringing home medals! She will be back out running today with the cross country team to, hopefully, improve her pace.
Wow - way to go! You can tell by her stride that she is serious about the race. You must be so proud of her. I like her pink shirt too.
