People and Pets Sundays - Run Jenna Run

My daughter (#120 in the pink shirt) ran in a 1 mile race and a 4 mile race yesterday in Rosemount, MN. I love the eager expressions on the runners faces at the start of the race - their expressions are quite different at the end of the race.

  1. I've taken dozens of photos of runner's and their expressions most of the time look unflattering. I think you got the right idea to get them at the start, when most of them are smiling :)

  2. Eagerness turns to tiredness by the end of the race... what was the result of the race though? Your daughter seems to be among the few top runners right at the start....

  3. Well, I don't want to brag...

My daughter took first place in both races in her age group. She loves bringing home medals! She will be back out running today with the cross country team to, hopefully, improve her pace.

  4. Wow - way to go! You can tell by her stride that she is serious about the race. You must be so proud of her. I like her pink shirt too.

  5. There seem to be some dads there. Where was RogerB?

  6. I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
