I love white birch trees - especially when the bark is peeling and curling. I took this photo on a dreary, overcast day and then did a little digital darkroom work on it to enhance the detail.

A lovely photo, - the earthy colours meld beautifully and the tree is one of my favourites, too.

Oh, my!!! That image calls to me to just sit there enjoying the ragged bark and he moving water. Beautiful!
